Introducing Brand Styles: Every Deck on Brand

Jul 18, 20263 min readBy Alice Mintz, Sous

Today we're releasing Brand Styles in Sous. Give Sous your website and one deck you love, and every analysis, workbook, and PowerPoint export comes out with your real logo, your exact colors, your fonts, and your layouts. Setup is a single upload, and it covers the whole team from that point on.

Brand Styles is a Sous feature that captures a brand's visual identity from its website and one example deck, then applies that identity, including the real logo, exact colors, fonts, and the deck's own slide layouts, to every analysis, workbook, and PowerPoint export the team produces.

Watch it happen:

Brand Styles: one upload in, every export on brand How Brand Styles works YOU GIVE SOUS Your website One deck you love Brand Styles one living style guide EVERY EXPORT Innovation roadmap Velocity story Next week's Safeway deck Real logo, exact colors, your fonts, your layouts, no matter who on the team built the deck.

What's new

Setup is your website and one deck. That is the whole input. Sous reads both and captures the real logo, the exact colors, and the fonts your designers actually chose, so nobody re-enters hex codes or hunts for the right logo file.

Sous studies the deck and lifts the layouts. Cover slides, dividers, and data slides come through just as your designers built them, and every new export reuses those patterns.

The style guide is living and shared. It lives once in Sous, and every export from anyone on the team draws from it. Consistency stops depending on one careful person with the master template.

Each brand gets its own style. Teams that run more than one brand keep a separate style per brand, and exports pick up the right one automatically.

Change it once and every future deck follows. A rebrand or a refresh happens in one place. Update the guide, and every export from then on inherits the change.

Why this matters

The demo opens with the problem: "For a CPG brand, your look is everything. You spend years building it. The exact blue, the perfect font, the feel of your packaging. Then you run an analysis and it slips."

Brands use Sous to build sharp analyses, clean charts, and real buyer pitches. The hard part was usually the last step: turning that work into a deck that matches your brand guide and every other presentation you deliver. Formatting was manual, so the result depended on who was exporting and how much time they had before the meeting. Brand Styles removes that step.

In practice

In the demo, the team exports three different deliverables: an innovation roadmap, a velocity story, and next week's Safeway deck (an example pitch, not a customer). All three come out finished in the brand's style, no matter who on the team built them. The pattern holds outside the demo too: Fishwife's sales team exports its category review decks the same way.

These deliverables live in workbooks, and workbooks already rebuild themselves when new data lands. Now the export at the end of that chain comes out on brand too: the numbers change every period while the look stays fixed.

We believe a brand should own its context: its products, its retailers, its competitive set, and how the team talks about the business. Your visual identity took years to build, and it belongs on that list, working as a shared asset instead of a skill locked in one designer's files.

Getting started

Brand Styles is live now for every Sous workspace.

  1. Sign in at platform.asksous.ai and open Brand Styles.
  2. Add your website address and upload one deck you're proud of. Sous builds the style guide from both.
  3. Export anything. Every analysis, workbook, and PowerPoint from then on comes out on brand.

For where this pattern goes next, read the complete guide to agents in CPG.
